Lemon Grove is one of the smaller cities in East County, built into the hills along SR-94 between San Diego and La Mesa. It's best known for the giant lemon sculpture along Broadway, and the neighborhoods around it are mostly older, close-set homes on hilly streets.
Hulk Movers is based nearby, and Lemon Grove is one of the quickest moves for us to get to. We know the hills and the older housing stock well from years of running local jobs here.
Most of Lemon Grove was built up in the postwar decades, and the homes reflect it: smaller single-story houses on hillside lots, narrow streets, and driveways that were sized for the cars of the 1950s rather than a modern moving truck. We plan for that by bringing smaller trucks or extra hand-carrying crew where the street won't allow a full-size rig close to the door.
Because Lemon Grove borders La Mesa, San Diego, and Spring Valley so closely, a lot of our jobs here are short local moves within a few miles rather than long hauls across the county.
Local and residential moves make up nearly all of our Lemon Grove work: families relocating within the city or into a neighboring community like La Mesa. Older single-story homes here also mean fewer stairs than East County's hillier suburbs, which usually keeps these jobs efficient.

Because we're based nearby, Lemon Grove is one of the easier areas for us to fit into the schedule on short notice. Call and we'll check availability.

They take a bit more planning, but our crews are experienced with Lemon Grove's older housing stock and know how to work around a tight driveway or a narrow front walk.
A local move means everything stays inside San Diego County, from a studio in North Park to a house in Rancho Bernardo.
