San Diego Packing Services

Quick answer: Hulk Movers packs San Diego homes in full or in part: the whole house, or just the kitchen, the closets and the fragile pieces. Packing is booked with a move or on its own, usually the day before moving day, with boxes sized to the contents and every box labeled by room.

Packing is usually the part of a move that eats the most time and the most patience. It's also where things get broken, a plate going into a box without enough paper around it, or a lamp crushed under something heavier packed on top. Hulk Movers packs the way a crew that unloads thousands of boxes a year knows works.

This service stands on its own or pairs with any move, local, long-distance, residential or commercial. Book the whole house or just the kitchen and the closets. Either way, the goal is the same: everything arrives in the shape it left in.

Full pack or partial pack

A full pack covers the entire home, room by room, boxed and ready for the truck. A partial pack covers whatever's giving you the most trouble, usually the kitchen, the garage, or anything fragile. Both are booked the same way; you just tell us where to start and stop.

How we pack

Boxes are sized to what's going in them so nothing shifts in transit. Dishes and glassware get individually wrapped, wardrobe boxes keep hanging clothes on their hangers, and heavier items go on the bottom of every box, not the top. Each box is labeled by room so unloading day makes sense.

Unpacking too, if you want it

Packing is available as a standalone service, but so is unpacking on the other end: setting boxes in the rooms they're labeled for and breaking them down once they're empty. Some clients want both. Some just want the packing handled and prefer to unpack at their own pace.

What should you pack yourself, even if you book packers?

Anything you would not hand to a stranger or cannot replace: passports, birth certificates, jewelry, cash, medications, laptops and the hard drives with the family photos. Those travel in your car. Pack a first-night box too, with sheets, towels, chargers, basic tools, coffee and whatever the kids or pets need to settle in.

Everything else can be left to the crew. It is usually faster to let packers do the kitchen, the books and the framed pictures than to half-pack them yourself, because half-packed boxes get repacked.
